The Queen Dream Lite Latex Mattress is a two layer system with a very firm 6-inch 100% natural latex foam core topped with 2 inches of very soft latex foam, for a feel that is similar to the popular petroleum-based memory foam, but without the body impressions. Latex foam is resilient and springs back immediately as you move in bed. Unlike memory foam, there is no waiting for the foam to heat before you sink into it--the effect is immediate with latex foam. The latex center is then covered with layers of organic cotton and wool batting, which is quilted to a durable organic cotton ticking cover that is made in Germany. If you want to replicate the memory foam feeling in a healthier natural mattress, the Dream Lite is the right organic mattress alternative.
