These Organic Cotton Velour Terry Robes are our newest and most luxurious organic cotton robes. They come in two unisex sizes, small/medium and large/extra large. They have patch pockets, a shawl collar, and a matching velour belt. These 100% organic cotton robes are white in color, and they also make great gifts! The organic cotton used in Coyuchi's robes is grown completely without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Coyuchi's organic cotton is certified by Control Union Certifiers of the Netherlands, GOTS and ECOCERT of France.

The cotton is processed into fabric in a totally natural fashion, without the use of chemicals. The organic cotton fabric is preshrunk using steam to keep its fit. These white robes are bleached using only mild, safe hydrogen peroxide, not harsh chemical bleaches. All Coyuchi organic cotton robes are machine washable in warm or cold water, tumble dry on low heat, making them easy care for the busy family.

Cotton is the most heavily sprayed crop on earth, consuming 25% of all the world's production of pesticides. Before World War II, all cotton was grown organically and the incidence of cancer was low. After World War II, pesticide use became endemic and cancer rates soared to the high levels seen today.
