Traversa Foyer Table

The natural curve of the oak staves of a wine barrel offer interesting furniture design possibilities, and the Traversa Foyer Table is a great example of this. Curved oak barrel staves from recently retired wine barrels criss-cross to form the graceful legs of these rustic foyer tables. There are two shelves and both the top and the bottom shelves are constructed of planks sawn from old white pine barn timbers. These Traversa foyer tables have a beautiful rustic style! First popularized by celebrity chef Michael Chiarello, this handsome furniture is made from real previously used oak wine barrels and white pine recycled from old barn timbers. The old wood used in these pieces gives the furniture a unique rustic style that is impossible to obtain with new wood. The furniture construction is a combination of fine wood joinery and steel fasteners for strength. It is finished in your choice of hand rubbed stains, and then covered with multiple coats of lacquer for a fine antiqued patina. Made in the USA.
